Osasuna drew against Valencia (3-3) thanks to a goal from Sadiq in the final minutes after the red team managed to come back with two goals from Aimar and one from Budimir, who enters the club’s history as the all-time leading scorer in La Liga.

Valencia took an early lead with a goal from Diego López, which was initially disallowed for offside but later confirmed by VAR. However, Osasuna reacted quickly and posed a threat in Valencia’s area, especially through combinations between Bryan and Aimar. The equalizer came as the ’10’ for Osasuna capitalized on a rebound in the box. Despite the home team’s dominance, Valencia struck back with Sadiq scoring to make it 1-2. Aimar then equalized with a magnificent volley from outside the box shortly after. With the score level and the support of the crowd, Osasuna sought a turnaround before halftime, which they achieved with a historic goal in the 45th minute. Budimir converted a penalty awarded for a foul on Rubén García, becoming the club’s top scorer in La Liga history.

In the second half, Valencia pushed for an equalizer, but Osasuna remained solid in defense and looked to counter quickly for a goal. Bryan had a great chance, but his shot hit the crossbar. As the game remained evenly matched, Valencia managed to create chances in the home team’s area, with Sergio Herrera making two important saves. In the end, Sadiq scored the equalizer with a back-heeled finish in the box. In stoppage time, Osasuna had an opportunity to win it, but Catena’s header from a corner went wide.

With this draw, Osasuna now has 33 points after twenty-six matches in LALIGA EA SPORTS. Their next match will be against Barcelona on Saturday, March 8th, at 9:00 PM at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium.
